This is a high-impact opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-paced, tech-driven business, collaborating across teams with a primary focus on compliance implementation and monitoring, insurance regulation, commercial contracting, data protection, and cross-functional legal support.
Mission: Support the Legal & Compliance area in managing day-to-day legal and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance, mitigating legal risks, and offering agile, practical guidance to various business units.
Main responsibilities:
Draft and review contracts with suppliers, insurers, aggregators/comparison websites, partners, and other third parties.
Provide support on data protection and privacy matters, including queries, risk assessments, security incidents, and potential data breaches.

Assist in managing complex customer complaints, proceedings before supervisory authorities, and matters related to the Customer Service Department.
Provide legal and regulatory support on insurance distribution, distance contracting, consumer rights, e-commerce, and customer service across the group’s various distribution models, including insurance brokerage, insurance agency, and underwriting agency (MGA).
Assist with basic corporate governance and corporate documentation tasks, such as powers of attorney, certificates, resolutions, and public deeds.
Collaborate on matters related to technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, DORA, and ISO 27001, coordinating with technical teams and external advisors.
Coordinate and monitor legal and regulatory matters assigned to external law firms.
Contribute to organising, documenting, and making the Legal & Compliance area's processes more efficient and scalable.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law or equivalent Spanish law degree (Grado/Licenciatura en Derecho). A double degree in Law and Business Administration (ADE) will be highly valued.
At least 3 years of professional experience in legal or compliance departments or law firms, preferably within the insurance sector.
Knowledge of insurance distribution regulation, including the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) and its implementation in Spain.
Practical experience in commercial contracting and compliance matters and knowledge of data protection, consumer law, distance contracting, and marketing/advertising regulations.
Ability to analyse complex legal issues and translate them into clear, practical, and solution-oriented guidance for the business.
High level of proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
A proactive, organised, rigorous profile with the capacity to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
Ability to work cross-functionally across different teams and progressively assume higher levels of autonomy.
Nice to have:
